Yep, I'm blogging bright and early this morning.
Design Team members are sharing their {Sole Sisters} projects throughout the week...it's so interesting to see how each person has designed with this bright, whimsical, purse embellished, shoe diva-licious collection.
Just a couple of samples from the paper line:
My first project: I took an old (old...like vintage old) puzzle can and covered it with patterned paper and then embellished. It's In The Bag? Yes, it's a place to stash my 'extra' change in saving for a new Vera Bradley bag...a girl can never have too many bags, right? :)
The Sole Sisters Collection is chocked full of embossed stickers, chipboard accents, fabric embellishments, cute snag 'em stamps and so much more!
My second project: a gift card/money holder. I constructed this from two standard shipping tags that I glued together...perfect size for gift cards. You could attach this to a gift bag or enclose in a small envelope for giving.
I added lots of my own personality to this one! First, I used the purse motif Snag 'em Stamp of which I inked with a craft pen and then added sweet red glitter for the dots. I hand-cut the flowers from the paper sample above and even watercolored the leaves. Then I inked the entire project in a walnut stain.
Oh and I centered each flower with shimmery I Rock gems!
My final project for Release Party Week: why a layout of course!
Again, I hand-cut the flowers and watercolored the leaves. I also used the I Rock gem setter to add those cool black colored rhinestones with. The I Rock is my new BFF :)
But you need to see ALL of the amazing projects created with the Sole Sisters collection!

And more importantly, leave a comment and you'll be in the drawing to WIN this collection for your very own!
I HEART {IPPITY}
I received so many lovely stamps this month from I Heart Ippity that I had a hard time deciding which design to go with first. And I wanted to change things up and craft something other than a card...so here's what I came up with:
I painted a 4x4 canvas block in a yummy buttercup and used the beautiful Farmhouse papers and stickers from October Afternoon. I added several vintage buttons, crochet trim and twine. I have it hanging in my craft room...it makes the perfect accent to a collage that I have hanging above it.
Okay, a few chores to get done around the house!
I'll be back a little later on to share my newest listing at Dot & Whimsy.
Have a Terrific Thursday
