Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card
Hello and welcome to my contribution to the
SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP
For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!
Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used:
From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill. From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then attached to the front of the girl with the Dual Tip Glue Pen.
A square frame was die cut from cardstock and placed around the pocket with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4".
To mount the framed pocket to the card, I used black Crafty Foam Tape.
For the birthday girl, after stamping the image onto watercolor page with black Staz-On pink, I colored her in with watercolor pencils. The sentiment was stamped onto patterned paper and then punched out with an oval punch.
I added more decorative elements by die-cutting two of the banners from Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut.
Here you can see all of the yummy, 3-D layers!
With this Blog Hop, both manufacturers will be giving away a total of $35 in product!

Paper Bits and Planner Clips
A very happy Sunday to you, my crafty friends!
Today I'm getting caught up on sharing some of my most recent projects for
SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L
First up is a project that I made with planners in mind.
You could certainly use these cuties on cards and scrapbook pages too though!
These are as easy as die-cutting a banner shape, folding it over a large paper clip
and embellishing! I've used some of the fabulous Adhesive Foam Shapes (hearts, butterflies, etc.)
from SAB3L and topped them with silver micro beads that I've had in my
stash foreverrrrr! The papers and most other embellishments are from Pebbles' Girl Squad Collection. If you'd like to see exactly how I put these today, check out
my blog post -->HERE<-- a="">-->
And the cuteness doesn't stop there :)
For my next project I grabbed another adorable collection from Pebbles: Patio Party.
Layers of yum! Pom trim, sweet bows with a pom pom center and bitty kraft pieces
that were each machine stitched for some extra whimsy.
I'd love it if you stopped by SAB3L blog and see more detailed photos
and steps of how I assembled these babies -->HERE<-- a="">-->
And since we're talking about Scrapbook Adhesives, we're having a
BLOG HOP with HERO ARTS on June 19th and you won't want to miss it!
Hope you have a TERRIFIC week!
