For the Shake Of It!

This week's Stamp of the Week at
Unity Stamp Co.
is too sweet!
Aside from cards, there are many cute ways to utilize this cutie!
Make a tag and tie onto a gift basket filled with things to make ice cream sundaes.
I recently pinned a good-looking recipe on Pinterest for a
Pineapple Ginger Smoothie...copy some different 'shake' recipes and then
wrap them up in a bow with a cut-out of this image attached to it.
Great little pick-me-ups to brighten someone's day :)

Here's my card:
I stamped onto grey cardstock, as well as white cardstock.  I attached the
cup with foam dots and then colored in the pink areas before adding them over
the grey.  Lace oval die by Spellbinders.  Turquoise paper by Simple Stories SN@P

I was thinking styro-foam for the cup, so I glittered it with a fine iridescent glitter.
The sweet heart pearl is by Doodlebug Design.

As you can see, for less than $6 per week, you can subscribe to a one-of-a-kind
red rubber stamp to be delivered to your mailbox!  Like to start with this stamp?

Thanks for dropping in...have a beautiful week ahead!

Ribbon Carousel Hop

WELCOME
to my little part of the
UNITY & RIBBON CAROUSEL BLOG HOP

You should be arriving here from Shemaine's Blog.
All-righty...let's get started!
I love ribbon.  I use ribbon on almost every single project that I make.
It adds that soft texture which, to me, completes a look.
My first card is pretty simplistic:

Unity: June 2012 Kit-of-the-Month
Ribbon Carousel: Blue Striped Grosgrain Ribbons
Patterned Papers: October Afternoon

Okay, so I'll admit...I was a little afraid to try this next trick, but in the
end I threw caution to the wind and said 'what the heck!"

You've guessed it:  I stamped onto the actual ribbon and then carefully
trimmed out with a pair of super sharp fine-tipped scissors.
Be sure to use a solvent ink such as Staz-On so that the image
doesn't bleed.
Unity: Poised & Pretty SB-987A
Unity: July 2012 Kit-of-the-Month (sentiment)
Ribbon Carousel: 1.5" Blue/White Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
and Red/White Striped Poly Ribbon
Patterned Papers: Pink Paislee

Now, let's talk PRIZES:
Ribbon Carousel  will be giving away ribbon to one lucky commenter
The winners will be announced on Saturday, 8/18 at 8:00 PM
Prize from Unity:
10 Itty Bitty Stamps.... winner's choice!!!

Thanks for stopping by...don't forget to leave a comment so you'll
be in the prize-drawing :)
Now it's off to visit Carisa's Blog!
Have fun!
