For the Shake Of It!

This week's Stamp of the Week at
Unity Stamp Co.
is too sweet!
Aside from cards, there are many cute ways to utilize this cutie!
Make a tag and tie onto a gift basket filled with things to make ice cream sundaes.
I recently pinned a good-looking recipe on Pinterest for a
Pineapple Ginger Smoothie...copy some different 'shake' recipes and then
wrap them up in a bow with a cut-out of this image attached to it.
Great little pick-me-ups to brighten someone's day :)

Here's my card:
I stamped onto grey cardstock, as well as white cardstock.  I attached the
cup with foam dots and then colored in the pink areas before adding them over
the grey.  Lace oval die by Spellbinders.  Turquoise paper by Simple Stories SN@P

I was thinking styro-foam for the cup, so I glittered it with a fine iridescent glitter.
The sweet heart pearl is by Doodlebug Design.

As you can see, for less than $6 per week, you can subscribe to a one-of-a-kind
red rubber stamp to be delivered to your mailbox!  Like to start with this stamp?

Thanks for dropping in...have a beautiful week ahead!

Hello Pretty

Unity Stamp Co.'s newest
is now up and ready to be ordered!

"Hello Pretty" by Angie Blom
After stamping the image onto textured cardstock, I very lightly shaded in
the bottles with a blue watercolor pencil and blended.  For the flowers, I used a
combination of fine tip markers and watercolor pencils.
To the edge of the paper, I distressed with a walnut ink and then
spritzed the top lightly with a  Gold Lame Iridescent Spritz by Heidi Swapp.

I placed the title onto foam dots and then attached as shown.
Two layered buttons and scraps of paper doily with little stitchings
makes the card whimsical and feminine!

If you're interested in receiving one-of-a-kind, deeply etched red rubber stamps
each week for less than $6, then give the Unity SOTW a try :)

Glad you've dropped by today...have a beautiful Sunday!

Let's Do Lunch

Unity Stamp of the Week #54
LET'S DO LUNCH

I started with a kraft card that I embossed (folder by Sizzix)...I wanted to
have that 'lunch sack' sort of a feel, so I decided not to cover the kraft
with too much cardstock :)  I stamped the image onto white cardstock,
colored with markers and a watercolor pencil for the light blue portion of
the lunch box.  I'm really diggin' the HAPPY colors and the cute whimsy flowers
popped over to the side...it makes me smile.

These are just the sweetest 'lil stamps...delivered
each week to Unity SOTW members!
For just a little more than $5 per week, you too can receive some
Unity Stamp goodness each and every week in your mailbox :)
AND
there's a wonderful bonus...as a SOTW member, you can choose
any of the previous SOTW stamps for just $4!
All stamps are exclusive to the Stamp of the Month Club.
If you love stamping or would like to try it then come on over and join us!

Just Chillin'

Time for a little bit of Unity today!
This post is dedicated to the last two Unity

Last week's SOTW
by the very talented Phyllis Harris

In deciding what colors to use on the stamped image, I first grabbed
the Howdy Doody Collection by My Mind's Eye.  I chose watercolor pencils
that matched the soft feel of the papers.
Don't you just love this image?!?
You can see more examples using this stamp right here.

Okay, hang on to your seat.
I'm in total and complete L-O-V-E with this next stamp
by Joslyn Nelson
 eeeeehhhhh!
There's just something about minimalistic snowpeople :)
When I first started coloring in the image with bright Christmas-y colors
I immediately thought of the Merry & Bright Collection by My Mind's Eye.
It's the perfect match.
And I didn't think card...I thought mini-album!

Just makes you wanna S*M*I*L*E!
I have it listed at my Dot & Whimsy shop at Etsy.

Calling all of you June Cleavers out there!
This week's Unity Stamp of the Week is just a doll.

All that's missing is the strand of pearls :)

The image was stamped onto white cardstock, as well as a beautiful
piece of patterned paper from October Afternoon's Woodland Park.
I used micro-tip scissors to carefully cut out the portions from the patterned paper
that I wanted to use on the main image.  I also accented the little details
in the apron with Zig Markers.
Patterned Papers and Washi Tape by OA Woodland Park.

Stamp of the Week

Time to share the newest
Unity Stamp of the Week
I love the folk-artsy look of this week's stamp.
I've dressed it up in Pebbles' {Let Freedom Ring}
patterned papers.

The sentiment alone can be used for many occasions.
If you love this stamp, be sure to grab it up before the week ends!
Just click on the banner at the top of the post to be taken to the
Unity Stamp of the Week Blog.

Be back in just a few with a brand new mini book!
Have a wonderful brand new week

Delightful

Greetings and welcome to this week's
UNITY STAMP of the WEEK
This stamp will be available through tomorrow (Saturday),
so grab it before it's too late.

Yep, I've used some old, old, old October Afternoon papers
and a cute paper doily die-cut by Martha Stewart.
Easy and quick card...literally 10-minutes from start to finish!

I'm a fussy-cutter.  I love stamping onto various patterns and cutting the images
out rather than coloring the images in.  This technique doesn't always work for
every stamp, but for this particular stamp, it worked perfectly!

After stamping onto a light blue background, I water-colored the bird and
then cut out into an oval shape.  I also stamped the image onto green so that I could
hand-cut the leaves out.
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
The sentiment fits perfectly into the tag shape of the EK Success punch.
