Greeting Card Journal Album

Happy Sunday!
I'm so excited to be sharing this project with you today.
I've created this "Greeting Card Halloween Album"
for my project at Scrapboook Adhesives by 3L

Album Foundation

To get started I have selected five greeting cards (matching sizes) from the Dollar Tree.
These cards were fifty cents each; you can't beat that deal!  Plus they're
Hallmark brand so the quality and graphics are very cute.

Secondly, I prepared the cards (as above) by creating an accordion with
the front/backs.   I also trimmed away a small section from the edge of the card
so that they would fit nicely.

I placed the Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/2in along the bottom and sides
of the card, leaving the top open to make a pocket.

First I grabbed several different products by Scrapbook Adhesives:

The retro owl card is what I chose to use for the album cover.
I added a die-cut to the center of him with the Crafty Foam Tape Black.

Next, I added Adhesive Dots 3D to the backs of the paper flowers
and used them to embellish the owl.

Let me share with you a look at the album pages after all were completed.
You can see the tags that I've added to the pockets.

On one of the cards, I attached a pocket from the Keepsake Envelopes
Not only does this hide the sentiment of the card, but it adds a spot where
I can place ticket stubs or other memorabilia.

On this page, I added a smaller pocket that I filled with glitter before sealing.
These make great shaker accents!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Loaded Halloween Box Video

Happy Friday and welcome to my latest little video
featuring a LOADED HALLOWEEN BOX

The video features one of my favorite projects to make and share:
the "one sheet mini album"

The cute jack'o lantern box came from the Dollar Tree,
as well as the packages of sticker boxes that I used to make
the wands.  I cut the boxes apart, trimmed down and then glued
to the top of a paper straw!

Cut a standard baseball card holder into 1/3's and add journal cards to the sleeves!
Instand little photo album.

The cover of our 'one sheet mini album' from the video!

Here are the wands that I made using the images from the sticker boxes!

Now isn't that a box loaded with fun!?!
I hope you have a very happy Fall weekend :)

Halloween Loaded Bags

Happy Wednesday Greetings!
I know I say this a lot about being addicted to things that I craft,
but these little Loaded Bags are the real deal.
A true crafty addiction!

Here's a peek at my latest Halloween Loaded Bags

I found the flat, black and orange dot bags at Wal Mart in the stationary section.
The bags are roughly 4" X 6".  I folded the bottoms up 2" and then used
a high-tack tape from Scrapbook Adhesives to the sides to create the pocket.

And as much as I'd love to be a "copic" girl, I just can't seem to part with that
much $ for markers, so....I found these on Amazon and thought I'd give them a try!
I must say they're actually very decent alcohol markers for the price.
Below, I've used them to color in the cute images from Darcie's

I do not profess to be a great color-er with markers, but I think they
turned out pretty good :)

To the inside of the larger pocket, I added this mini "pocket letter"
I cut a row of 3 pockets from a standard baseball card sleeve and then
added ATC cards and other embellishments!  Photos and journaling
can also be added to the sleeves and then placed in a Halloween Daily or planner.

Other pieces of ephemera, tags, die-cuts and cute clips were added too!

I have these listed in my Etsy shop if you don't have them time
to make your own.  Super fun for a teacher gift or happy mail swap :)
