Country Christmas

I have a new mini album to share that I made with
TOP DOG DIES'
Take a look at all of the exclusive Top Dog Dies, as well as other dies that they carry at

The sweet collection is one that We R Memory Keepers put out last season...I love it!
If you like a country-Christmas feel then you will love the Yuletide Collection.

I cut all of the jar shapes from a medium-weight chipboard and then different patterned
papers.  For the cover, I used the banner portion of the Finishers Die Set, along with the
large doily from the Cherish Doilies & Tags Set.

The inner pages were  mix of patterned papers cut into mat-sizes, as well as different
die-cuts, journal cards and stickers from the collection.

The Mason Jar Album Die measures 4 5/8" x 7" and is steel rule.
Top Dog Dies steel-rule dies are compatible with most table-top die-cutting machines including
the Sizzix Big Shot, Tim Holtz Vagabond Die-Cut Machine by Sizzix, Provo Craft Cuttlebug
and Craftwell eBosser. View Machine Compatibility Information.

I hope you have a great weekend!

A Jar + Farm Girl

I had the most wonderful time this past weekend at a scrapbooking retreat
in Tyler, Texas.  If you ever plan on being in the area, be sure to check out
Memory Lane Inn...it's an amazing Victorian home and modified for the weekend scrapbooker!

On the first day there we visited the local scrapbook store and I picked up
some of October Afternoon's Farm Girl papers and accessories to go with the
cutest 'jar' shaped chipboard mini album from Scrapbooker's Emporium!
(and don't miss the acrylic jar set, which will allow you to create several looks)

For the cover, I used the templates to build the lid and 'fabric' cover from various
patterned papers.  I kept the design pretty simple since the cuteness of the chipboard girl
goes a long way!

The inner two pages...I love the idea of using the small journaling cards for
photo mats or jotting down a memory.

I used an old typewriter for the little sentiment flag and added a flair button to the middle.
And isn't that the happiest pig you've ever seen!?!

And the final two pages incorporating Farm Girl's chipboard, stickers, flair and Sticky Keys!
After adhering the finished pages to the chipboard, I outlined the edges in red/white baker's twine.
I can't wait to use this jar-shaped chipboard again...great for a small recipe book,
gardening tips or a banner for the kitchen :)

Enjoy your week and thanks for dropping by!
