Sydnee placed first in her third grade class' Long Jump event at Track & Field Day 2011. I put the camera on ACTION mode and went to town snapping fun shots of her racing and jumping; she was truly in her element! When I came across Elle's Studio Sketch Thursday, I went into ACTION myself.

I'm falling in love with sketches again and it's such a good thing! There are tons of wonderful sketch sites and I'm sure that there are many more that I haven't stumbled upon...yet :)
Sydnee ended up with a 1st place ribbon in: Girl's Long Jump and 100 Meter Dash; 2nd place in 100 Meter Boy/Girl Relay and 6th place in the Three-Legged Race...she was ecstatic! She's such a J-O-Y ♥
