From My Kitchen...

...to yours!

It's all ready Thursday, so that means it's Totally Terrific Thursday at I Heart Ippity.
I've been having the best time with the latest Ippity Stamps...I may have mentioned that before, but it's worth repeating again :)
For this week's project, I selected the
My Kitchen to Yours
IPPITY-IB-007
Itty Bitty Stamp Set

I knew when I laid my eyes on this stamp that I would make a gifting tag...perfect for this.
I first stamped the image onto a scrap of cardstock, watercolored the center block, punched with a 2" square punch, inked around the edges and then finally spritzed with a walnut ink.  I cut a little larger piece of gingham paper and centered the stamped image as shown (with pop dots, of course!).  To embellish, I used a strip of doily (the kind used for bulletin boards) and wrapped it around the bottom portion of the tag.  The cherries sticker, gingham paper and ric rac sticker are from the Farm Fresh collection by October Afternoon.
For the bag, I used a small white lunch sack and scalloped the top with a border punch; fold over and hole punch.  That's all there is to it!
I love having little homemade gifts on hand when I'm hosting a home party or Bunco...everyone loves walking away with a treat!  Fill these small sacks with cookies, candies or a fun snack mix. You'll be the talk of the town :)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday was just NOT my day...first, I almost (may have even) broke my foot on the edge of my son's bed, then I locked myself out of the house (grabbed the wrong bag with no keys in it!) and had to tear off the screen from a window and crawl through.  I know, I know...I AM really thankful that I at least had a window open to crawl through.  I'm still without a cell phone and what neighbors we have are not home during the day.  So, I'm going to play it easy today and just camp out in my craft room...maybe I won't sew my fingers together or impale myself with the fabric scissors LOL
Have a wonderful day!
