WORLD CARDMAKING DAY
is here!
I'm very honored to be celebrating at two very special
places today... first up I'll be sharing with Bella Blvd.

When I received my first design team box of Bella goodness
last week, I couldn't wait to jump in and get crafty!
Here are the two cards that I designed just especially for
World Card Making Day:
NO PLACE LIKE HOME CARD
For this card I wanted to utilize the Designer Tape, but I also wanted
a scalloped edge, so I grabbed the decorative edged scissors and set to work.
In keeping with the warm, fall feeling of the card, I added the two wooden buttons...
no one has to know that there are snowflakes on the other side :)
A simple zig-zag stitch from my sewing machine completes the cozy, inviting card.
Supplies: Thankful Collection: Our Spot Paper; Burlap Paper; Alpha+Bits;
CuteCuts; Ciao Chip Icons; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron;
Button Market: Snowflakes (reverse)
The next card is really and truly so cute that I almost can't stand it!
After I sent the card in to Laura Vegas, she emailed back and said
"the frog looks like he's sitting on a swing!"
Why yes, he does indeed!
FROG BIRTHDAY CARD
Wanting to add some fun texture to the background,
I hand-stitched a zig-zag of colorful baker's twine before attaching the
embellishments. Adding interest, as well as hiding the piercing marks left from
the large embroidery needle, I also hand-stitched on a few buttons to the top.
It was easy to layer on the chipboard frog over the baker's twine by
simply using foam dots!

Just Write Journaling Stickers; Ciao Chip Icons; Button Market: Orange Stars and Outdoors.
