And now...time to check out the brand-spanking-new
Spring PaperHaus Magazine:
SPRING FLING BUNNY, HOP
With the theme of Spring, I whipped up a super simple and fun bunny named Hop
(get it...Hop? as in blog hop, as in what bunnies do)
I've witnessed several "toilet paper roll challenges" around the internet, so I thought "why not!"
This was as easy as cutting a piece of paper to 4" X 6" and adhering to the toilet paper roll.
(I used the Xyron Create-A-Sticker machine)
(I used the Xyron Create-A-Sticker machine)
-For the ears, I hand-cut a large heart (approximately 3" wide) and then cut the heart in half.
-Next, I cut a smaller heart from cardstock (approximately 2.25" wide) and cut it in half as well.
-Attach the smaller heart pieces to the larger and then glue to the inside of the tube.
I turned the heart halves so that the 'center' points (where I cut the hearts apart) were facing the outside
(I didn't want it to look like a heart when placed on top of the bunny's head).
-Add a little pink chalk or make-up blush for the cheeks.
-I used Doodlebug Designs' Bon Bon Pearls for the eyes and a Cupcake Chunky Brad for the nose.
-To make the whiskers, loop brown thread two times, knot in the middle and then glue below the eyes before inserting the brad through. Cut the loops in half and trim to desired whisker length.
-A sweet mini bow at the top and pretty lace trim at the bottom finish off Mrs. Hop.
Mrs. Hop Ingredients:
Doodlebug Designs' Hello Spring "Color Dots" Patterned Paper and Double-Sided Cute Cuts
Banner; Bon Bon Mini Pearls; Cupcake Chunky Brads
Misc: Polka Dot Ribbon Bow; Lace Trim (Hobby Lobby); Brown Thread; Pink Cardstock
--GIVEAWAY--GIVEAWAY--GIVEAWAY--GIVEAWAY--
In keeping with the whimsical theme of my blog post, I gathered up some sugary-sweet
items to make up this "Flutter-Fly Spring Kit"
With four white paper bags, this is a great kit for making Easter Treat Sacks!
Also included: several paper flowers, brads, metal photo corners, six handmade butterfly
journal tags, vintage notebook hearts, doily border, FOUR different ribbons (each in
one yard lengths), plus pink twine!
--I'D LOVE FOR YOU TO WIN IT!--
