I'm getting this Monday started off with a fun & bright layout...
it's cloudy here and it's Monday...I need fun & bright!
DOODLEBUG DESIGN & KIWI LANE DESIGNS
teamed up this past week and today to bring all sorts of projects using the
two companies' products. I received the "Celebrate Accessories" Templates from Kiwi Lane, so
I decided to use Doodlebug's "Birthday Girl" Collection and photos from my daughter's 11th birthday.
For the base paper I selected Doodlebug's Limeade Sugar Coated Cardstock...a little shimmer
goes perfectly with such a celebratory page :) Next, I made a smaller inset from a sheet of Swimming Pool Petite Print Cardstock. I cut along the banner/cloud border (Cake & Ice Cream Collection) to create two different swagged pieces.
I selected the paper for the balloons and then traced using the Kiwi Lane template.
Using a fine-tip glue pen, draw a wavy line onto the paper...this is a wonderful way to make sure
the Doodle Twine stays in place, as I did for the balloon's string.
The bottom scallop and title banner are also templates from Kiwi Lane.
I made this layout while away at a crop, so the templates came in extra-handy!
