Wow...UmWow!

AUTHENTIQUE PAPER and UM WOW STUDIOS

are teaming up each Thursday of this month...what a treat!

This was my first experience with Um Wow's products and I was very

pleased with the craftsmanship and quality.  The flair buttons are larger than most

on the market and there are tons to choose from!

When shopping for my Um Wow goodies, the "Bee's Knees" Flair buttons just spoke to me;

 I knew that they'd be perfect with Authentique's "Be{You}tiful" Collection!

For my album today, I also incorporated a new set of dies from Spellbinders,  "Creative Book Pages".

Not having a single chipboard sheet in the house, I tore apart a cardboard box and went that route! 

I ran the pieces through my Grand Calibur a few times so that the die cut completely through the cardboard.  Here is how it all took shape:

After placing the 'bee flair' I was able to plan out the following pages so that it would have
 a symmetrical look when the album was closed.  The punch-out tags from the collection
 make designing quick!

Another item that I picked up from Um Wow are these really cool chipboard
 "Circle Confetti" Some of the circles are solid and others have holes in the center...
just pop them in place with a bit of liquid glue.

I die-cut matching patterned papers to cover the cardboard pages.  If you find that your
die cut papers don't match up with the chipboard/cardboard base, try die-cutting the pieces together.
  I resolved this by distressing the edges of the paper, after attaching to the cardboard page
...hid the edges really well.

On the top page:  I added the "Circle Confetti" to the center of buttons!
 Just use a thin glue dot to do so.  I think it makes a great layering look!

The bottom page features the "Ray Background" chipboard piece and a couple more pieces
 of the "Bee's Knees" Flair.  

In finishing, I punched the top with my crop-a-dile and then used two large 1.5" rings to
 hold the pages together.  I tied on some pretty ribbons from May Arts and my album is complete!
