Happy New Year, Doodlebugs!
Now that the Christmas decorations are down, it's time to focus on all things snowflakes, snowpeople, yetis, and winter! Today I'm sharing an ornament and bunted garland that I crafted for one of my small trees:
The fabulous thing about this project is that you can use any shape of chipboard (think mini album pages, a sign from the dollar store, etc.) and then cover with a cute swatch of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Collection.
I designed different scenes for the fronts of each ornament. Think die-cut shapes and then layer on die-cuts, journal cards, stickers and doodle-pops of course!
In finishing the ornaments, I used a fine point glue pen to attach chunky twine around the perimeter. Finally, I punched two holes along the tops and added ribbon for a hanger.
The bunted garland was super simple to make! I took a length of chunky twine and approximately seventy-five 1.5" circles which were folded in half and wrapped around the twine.
I filled in the rest of the tree with some large glittery snowflakes and my Winter Wonderland tree is all set!
Thanks for stopping by!
