Easter Egg Chacuterie

Looking for an eggstra-special craft for the kids or grandkids? Let them make their own Easter Egg Charcuterie Board!

Stamp and die-cut the sweet images from the Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps & Cuts and let the littles color the images in!  I've taken the finished images (colored with Copic Markers) and attached them to paper bands to create little egg holders:

As you can see, I stamped the various "motorized" bunnies, colored and die-cut.  I embellished them further with little patches of grass and flowers (also stamped, colored and die-cut).

The paper strips were cut from various patterned papers to measure 6"X1.5" and then adhered the ends together to make a 1.5" diameter ring.  The bunnies were then lined up with the bottom of the paper rings and attached.  I filled with paper shred and plastic eggs.

I placed the finished egg holders on a covered egg-shaped piece of wood that I purchased from Dollar General.  I traced the shape onto patterned paper, cut out and then Mod Podged to the wood.  Using the Mod Podge allows a nice seal if you want to add candies or other things that may damage an unsealed paper.  Next, I trimmed the edge of the wood with a wrapping of chunky twine!

I wanted to add some height to the back of the tray, so I painted two mini spools, inserted paper straws and then attached the cute die cut! Add more character and sprinkle candy eggs between the traffic of bunnies :)
