I Love to Color!

Little Yellow Bicycle is teaming up with Faber-Castell this week...
today is day #2 and I'm up!
I love thinking up new ways to add color to the Naturals Canvas pieces.
For this card I took a large and small canvas daisy and separated the layers.
On a heavyweight piece of paper, I rubbed out a large circle of Metallic Melon Gelato and
combined it with a dollop of Gel Medium; mix the two until they're well blended.
Using a stiff paintbrush, I applied two coats to the canvas petals.  I then reassembled
the layers and used it for the focal point of my card!

 Faber Castell's Aquarelles aren't just for paper!  I used a trio of orangey-yellow hues (#108, 115, 117)
and colored in two of the beautiful Nature Canvas Stickers.  Starting from the outside of each butterfly,
I used the darkest color and then worked my way inside the design with the lighter two colors.
 Using a water-brush, I gently blended the colors together...easy!

The two companies are each offering a prize pack worth $50!
