An Accomplished Mini Album

Happy Tuesday, friends!  I'm up on the
AUTHENTIQUE PAPER BLOG
today with a quick Graduation gift idea using the new
Accomplished Collection and the matching Card Making Stack.
blog.authentiquepaper.com

You will find that the cards from the stack are of the same high quality as any Authentique paper.
When doubled together into a card, you have a very sturdy page for a mini album!

Select six different sheets of the pre-scored cards;  fold each in half along the score line.

Using a high-tack adhesive, apply a strip along each side of the card as shown above.
You will have a pocket with the opening at the top.

I die-cut a couple of prints from the 6X6 Paper Bundle and layered them onto the cover page.
The reverse side of the Accomplished Components Die-Cuts have a pretty plaid design, so
I used it as the backdrop for the sentiment sticker.  A few buttons from Petaloo were added
at the top with glue dots.

For the inner pages, I cut a mat to measure 3.25" X 4.5".

I found some neutral buttons and used those throughout the album.
Because the base pages were all ready assembled, I used adhesive and foam dots
to attach all of the embellishments.  If you plan on using brads or hand-stitching, that
could be done before adhering the sides of the card together or to the mat itself before attaching.

Cork is also a nice neutral to use!  These arrow stickers were a must to go along
with the sticker sentiment on this page.

I love all of the wordings found on the "Scribe" paper...there's encouragement at
every turn with this collection.

I ended the album with the "flip the tassel" sticker...I think it's a great place to
add that final photo of the graduation ceremony :)

And who doesn't love tags?!?  I cut these from a single sheet of the "Circulate"
12X12 paper into 4" X 5" tags.  I didn't want a lot of bulk by adding bows to the
top of each, so I staggered them in the pockets so that every-other-page had a bow.
I added journal card cut-outs to the other three tags...now there's extra room
 for journaling and photos!

The tags slide easily down into the openings of the cards.
Finally, I bound my pages together with two rings.  Just keep in mind how much room
you will need for your tags before punching the holes.
Now it's all ready for that special graduate!
