It’s not very often that I’m photographed with all three of my children;
as with most moms: we’re the picture-taker!
Last year on Mother’s Day I made a special effort to get lots of photos of my family…
with me included; it was the one gift that I wanted from that day.
I paired up one of the photographs with the Hello Sunshine Collection by

I took not only one of my favorite photos, but one of my favorite sayings:
“my greatest blessings call me mom”
and made it large enough to make the statement that I wanted on the layout.
I let the title tell the whole story…not much else was needed!
Using my cutting machine and the Masana Script font,
I die-cut a portion of the title from American Crafts’ black cardstock. I added adhesive
to the backs of the die-cuts with the Xyron Sticker Maker. I wanted to highlight the word ‘blessings’
so I used the chipboard letters from the Hello Sunshine Collection. You can use a ruler or a
focal point on the paper (like the dots) to keep everything straight.
In keeping with the black lettering, I also used hints of black in the border strips that
I punched and the small mat that peeks out from behind the photo. I used the sun from the
“Sunny Days” Cutting File to accent the page. Finally, I added a cluster of flowers from
the Hello Sunshine Ephemera pack and a few chipboard stickers here and there.
This page is absolutely lovely! I love the sentiment and love that you realized the importance of a pic with you and the kidlets!! I am going to make sure that happens this week for me - that I get a photo with my 3 children that are still living at home!!
