For my project today I have altered a wooden house shaped plaque with
Simple Stories' "Story of Us" Collection and various ribbon/trim by May Arts

Putting it all together was made quick and easy with the
9" Creative Station and other adhesives by Xyron.

I trimmed the edges of the pieces with either a 1/4" ribbon or pom pom trim by May Arts.
For the outer edge, I applied the 1/4" Doubled Sided High Tack Tape by Xyron and then
 pressed the ribbon in place.

The pre-cut wood set also came with a folk art style heart that I covered in paper and then
embellished with chipboard stickers, enamel dots and cardstock stickers.

To the top I made a large bow with May Arts faux burlap ribbon.
I looped the ribbon back and forth and then cinched together at the center with twine.
To cover the twine, I used a large decorative brad.

The finished plaque makes a cute centerpiece for a wedding shower and then can be passed
 along to the bride-to-be!
