A Spooky & Spirited Wreath

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing a clean-and-simple
Halloween wreath that was created using the NEW "Spirited" Collection
by AUTHENTIQUE PAPER
 --See the entire collection HERE--

I started with a wire wreath base used in making the deco-mesh style wreaths.
I was going for a very clean design with the main focus on the center piece,
so I left the base pretty plain with the exception of a some knotted ribbons
and the tinsel stems that come all ready attached.

I love, love, LOVE this paper with the spooky house!  For some reason it just
reminded me of watching Scooby Doo LOL  I cut the paper down a bit and
matted it with a larger, coordinating piece of paper.  Next, I colored in the
house with watercolor pencils by Faber Castell
A little spritz of lime-green was centered around the middle
of the design to give a cast of moonlight!

Before attaching the paper to an 8X10 painter's canvas, I added a black
glittered branch that I found at Michael's.  I hand-stitched the branch
in place with needle and thread.

A simple title sticker was placed at the top with foam adhesive.
To attach the canvas to the wreath base, I punched two holes at the top
and then attached with two large rings.
A couple of ribbon bows were tied on to the rings.

Thanks for letting me share with you today!
I can't wait to hang this Spirited wreath up in my home!
