Newton's Nook: Spooky Street Release!

Happy Wednesday!  Welcome to Day #3 of the
Newton's Nook September Releases!
Today we're featuring another set of the more 'solid'
stamp images, as I like to call them.
These are so much fun to use when you don't have time
to color in a design or if you just like the clean 'n simple look that they bring!

"Spooky Street" Stamp Set:

My sample card made with this spooky stamp set:
After die-cutting a circle from some creepy spider paper, I sponged on some
warm yellow ink with a dauber.  Next, I dabbed on some of the same ink on a
smooth white cardstock and then stamped the house image with Memento Tuxedo Black.

The house was restamped over the bottom of the 'moon'

and then topped with the same image that had been hand-cut from the cardstock.
I had some fun cutting up a little yard from a scrap piece of green paper :)
Patterned papers from Authentique.

  1. This is such a neat card Shellye! I love the layout, the contrast between the diagonal lines and the stars, how the flag is coming out of the house with the DP moon behind it, the glittery scalloped border, and especially those pretty patterned papers you used! FAB! ~ Meredith
