We're mixing things up a bit over at 

this week with a product

Each Design Team Member was asked to create a project

using THREE (3) different collections from Imaginisce.

I went with a 12x12 layout and a neat sketch from Page Maps

I used patterned papers from {Hello Cupcake: Red Dot}

{Sole Sisters: Stripe} and {Makin' Waves: Blue Chevron}

These are ALL the reverse side patterns of the papers, which makes most ALL

Imaginisce products easy to Mix & Match :)

Cardstock by Coredinations.

And yes, I stayed exactly with the sketch...as if you couldn't tell all ready LOL

MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK
It's Wednesday and that means that I have another Cards Challenge.

This week it's a CARDS SKETCH CHALLENGE to be exact!

The Sketch:

For my interpretation of the sketch, I moved everything to the center.

Using the July Nook Kit, I layered a couple of the Jillibean Soup

labels and added a punched heart to the center.  

Everything is from the kit with the exception of the punched leaves,

orange pearls and jute twine.  

My Scrapbook Nook always have the BEST kits with the most 

up-to-date papers and embellishments!

Last week I received a huge package of fun

goodies from the new online shop

I'll be guesting with them for the next couple of months!

I couldn't wait to get started and immediately came

up with three fun projects right off the bat...I'll be sharing one of

them with you today!

As part of my design packet, I received a huge lot of these beautiful

BLUEBERRY TURQUOISE MULBERRY FLOWERS.

  After cutting out a generous sized heart (from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline)

and lining the back with the same sized chipboard, I then outlined the perimeter

in these sweet blooms!  

Just pull from the wired stem and attach with a glue gun

or quick dry glue (I use Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue)

 Gorgeous flowers approximately 3/4 inch in diameter!
Each pack of flowers will contain 96 of 1 color. You will recieve 12 picks with 8 flowers each.

I added a small blue grosgrain bow to the front and also added a length of

it to the back of my heart for hanging.

I wanted to make something really clean and simple for 

this week's blog hop.  I pulled out a zebra-striped skinny card

from Canvas Corp and an older scrap paper from American Crafts.

After fussy cutting around a collage of flowers, I added it to the 

card front.  So unlike me!  I almost always 'layer' with at least one mat of paper :)

I've used a couple of different STICKERZ from EAD.

and  Thinking of You Sentiments

layered onto the top of the scrolled frame.

A couple of pearls and bakers twine and I'm done!

Off now to see what Miss Amy has in store for us today!

It's CARDS Challenge time at 

This month we've been delighted with the new and popular

It reminds me off an Indian Summer with the warm ocher, rust,

raspberry, olive green and neutral tones.

For my challenge this week, I've used the letters in the word 

to create a play-on-words, so to speak.  Players are to use one of these

words on the front of their cards:

G-Grateful

I- Inspiration or Inspired

N- Neverending

G- Good Bye

E- Everlasting

R- Romantic or Romance

I wanted to show two totally different looks using this Nook Kit.  

I even used the same doily cut-out on both cards: for the bottom card I just flipped

it over and used the reverse pattern; I built my card from there :)

off to the parents' later on this afternoon for a cookout, swimming and then fireworks

We have another

upon us at Imaginisce!

I whipped up a very fun and easy bookmark that would also make a 

wonderful summer or anytime craft for kids!
 Here I've used a plain sheet of white cardstock, patterned papers
from the Imaginisce Makin' Waves Collection, fabric ric rac and embellishments.
I created the sun using a 22mm I Top Punch and 1.5" circle punch

To create the bookmark you will need a 6x6 piece of heavy paper
1- Score paper at 3" mark, turn and score again at the 3" mark
2-  Turn your paper and score from corner to corner (will look like scoring a triangle)

I have marked the scored lines in orange so that you can see them:

3- Fold the paper to create the triangle

4-Take one of the tips of the triangle, crease and  fold it down as shown

5- Next, bring the two side points up and fold; you will now have a square

6- Fold the sides in half to give a crease...it should now look like this:

7- Lastly, take those points and now fold them back over and into the
pocket of the bookmark

That's it!  No glue required, except for adding those fun embellishment with.
These would make sweet back-to-school gifts for teachers or kids.
Christmas will be here before we know it, so think stocking stuffer!

In honor of Independence Day in just a couple of days, I created

a really quick and easy patriotic card using EAD Stickerz and a bit

of scrap paper from Collage Press

Because the bunting was in a straight line and I wanted more of a curved look,

I applied the Stickerz to a piece of cardstock and then trimmed each

banner out separately.  I then attached the individual pieces with a foam dot

to create the look that I wanted to achieve.  A bit of baker's twine

and pom poms completed the revised bunting :)

I used the Lollipop Font by Lifestyle Crafts for the letters.

Now it's off to Amy's Blog...hope you enjoy the hop and I hope

that my American friends have a safe and HAPPY 4th of JULY!

 

 

I am, I am!

And to prove it, I created this sweet

chipboard mini album using nothing but 

I stamped the beautiful image using an Authentique branded Unity Stamp.  

For the flowers, I used the 22mm I Top punches from Imaginisce and an assorted

flower punch from EK Success.

I hand-stitched a few old buttons and framed my stamped image with a 

wooden frame by Crate Paper.
