Next, I die cut the inner circle using a 1.75" circle die and hot glued it to the bottom of the cup. A smaller 1.5" circle die was used to die-cut the head. The wings were simply cut using the plaid paper from the Pumpkin Spice 6X6 Pad and the Leaf Die from the same Nesting Scallops die set.

Let me begin by sharing my YOUTUBE CHANNEL, where I have a complete step-by-step process video of how to put one of these together and all of the supplies needed.
I started with a 12x12 sheet of the Bon Bon Buffalo Check-Woodgrain patterned papers and adhered it to a heavyweight cardstock. Next, I die-cut the scallop shape using the next-to-the-largest die from the "Nesting Scallops" Doodle Cuts set. The outer scalloped circle fits nicely onto the plastic storage cup. I found a package of the disposable cups at the dollar store!
For the feet I used the square tag die from the Mini Tags Doodle Cuts and cut a piece from the orange woodgrain paper. The tab of the tag was trimmed off, the paper folded in half, and then glued to the bottom of the scallop. I also used one of the larger hearts, from the same die set, to die cut the wattle (I call it a goozle in the video hahaha!). The beak is a snip from the orange Paper Frills scalloped paper :)
A couple of black Sprinkles for the eyes, a bow and tag and it's ready for filling with treats!

You've Been Boo'd Box | With Shellye
You've been boo'd! What a fun way to share surprising little gifts with neighbors and friends this Halloween! The concept is quite simple: fill up a bag, basket or box with treats and a message that they've "been boo'd"...in turn, they pay it forward by boo'ing someone else.
For my box, I've upcycled a cereal box and incorporated pieces from the "Ghost Town" Collection:
To start, I began by cutting a cereal box in half (it's easiest if you disassemble the box, cut and glue).
The box then measures 7.5X2.5X5.5. I covered the half-box with patterned paper before re-gluing.
The front was decorated with the "BOO" cut-apart cards, Doodle Pops and letter stickers. I also added paper handles to the sides.
To the inside of the basket, I tucked a little premade notebook that I covered with strips of washi tape and added a Jelly Clip to the top! Next, I used one of the larger Create-A-Card envelopes and added paper treats inside :) The outside was decorated with one of the sweet die-cut houses, sticker letters and held together at the top with two mini clothes pins.
I wanted something to hold small bars of chocolate, so I die-cut a pillow box from patterned paper, wrapped it in ribbon and made a cute tag!
Finally is a package of handmade bows! I made these using two of the Doodle Cuts Mini Tags and a large brad:
From the set of little dies, you could actually create an array of different sizes and shapes. For these particular bows, I folded the rectangular tags in half and glued. I lined up all four of the tags (for one bow) by matching up the tabbed holes and then inserted a large brad through to hold them all together! I left the tails so that they could be positioned out horizontally or folded down.
I used one of the 4X6 cards as a base for attaching the bows. By using a repositionable glue dot, the bows won't slide around and can easily be removed. The sheet of bows was placed inside a cellophane bag and topped with a fun bag topper! I make my bag toppers by simply folding a piece of paper in half and stapling to the top.
Now that the bag has been filled, I can add a typed note of instructions (found on Pinterest) for how the recipient can boo the next person! What great fun...I hope you'll try it!

PUMPKIN SPICE FILE BOX
I've constructed this sweet file box and cards from the ground-up...let's see how it all came together!
Let's start with the box construction, shall we?
I wanted this project to be something that you could easily create with just a few basic supplies and the "PUMPKIN SPICE" Collection, of course!
I started with an 8.5X11 sheet of heavy chipboard and cut:
5X5.5 (1-for the bottom), 3X5.5 (2-for the sides), and 3X5 (2-for the front and back). Place the pieces onto a sheet of patterned paper, leaving an 18" gap between each piece (as shown above). Trim away four square sections at each corner. Fold the tabs around the TOPS of the chipboard pieces and glue NOTE: leave the side tabs unglued as they will be the hinges to hold the sides together.
Fold all of the sides in. Again, use the side tabs and glue each one to the opposite side.
Next, I cut strips of paper and lined the inside of the box (this is a nice contrast and also hides the hinge tabs!). For the "guides", I glued in two paper straws that were held in place by mini wooden spools. There are many ways that you could attach the straws if you don't have spools!
For the file cards: I used sheets of 6X6 papers (from the paper pad) and trimmed to 5X6. I wanted the cards to be square (optional), so I fold the extra inch at the bottom where I would make the two holes (this adds extra sturdiness too!). I measured the distance between the two straw guides and made a template to figure out where to punch the holes. After punching the holes, I cut through the remaining paper (at the bottom of each hole) so that the cards could sit onto the straws and slide.
Now for the really fun part...decorating and embellishing!
I used all sorts of fun treats from the collection, as well as Doodlebug basics to make each card unique! The sheet of journal cards was cut apart and the longer strips cut in half to fit the cards.

Next I outlined the roof with a strip of washi tape that I applied to leftover cardstock. A couple of wooden buttons from my stash goes nicely with the wood edging of the chalkboard.
For the box on the front of the chalkboard: A 4"X5" piece of white cardstock was layered with a basketweave of two different patterns of washi tape.
Hey Pumpkin! Chalkboard House Album
There's just something about the silhouette of a house that screams "HALLOWEEN!" to me!
On one of my many trips to the Target Dollar Spot, I picked up this cute 7"X9" chalkboard shaped house...it even has a stand on the back for displaying. If you can't find a house shape, think about other shapes which are readily available at craft and school supply stores.
To begin I used the "Starry Night" stencil and dry-brushed white acrylic paint over the chalkboard area.
For the box on the front of the chalkboard: A 4"X5" piece of white cardstock was layered with a basketweave of two different patterns of washi tape.
I machine stitched around the perimeter to secure the tape.
Next I made a box base using two 1"X5" strips of chipboard for the sides and a sheet of 5"X7" patterned paper. The paper was scored at 0.5", 1.5", 5.5" and 6.5". The 1" chipboard strips were glued along the 1" scored sections (to make the sides sturdy). I cut a 4"X2" strip of paper and glued it to the bottom of the paper strip; this will be the bottom flap of the box. After folding along the score lines, the two smaller 1/2" flaps were glued to the back of the box front (basketweave piece) and then to the chalkboard house.
To the inside of the box I added a tag book simply constructed from 3.25"X6" heavy white cardstock bases layered with "Boo Crew" papers, die-cuts, stickers and decorative brads! I also used the word strips from the "Cast A Spell" paper as photo prompts!
I have this displayed on my table along with some glittery pumpkins...
I think it's an adorable way to greet my Halloween guests :)
