This week we're honoring and remembering our Veterans with an
IMAGINISCE REMEMBRANCE BLOG HOP
November 11th marks Veteran's Day in the US and Remembrance Day in Canada.
We thank ALL of our veterans...your service means the world to us!
For today's hop, you should be arriving here from Mary Ann's Blog
Be sure to hop along the way as various Design Team members will have
giveaways on their blogs :)
I created a layout featuring a couple of photos that my mom took on
Memorial Day of this year. This is of my Uncle Jimmy's gravesite.
He gave the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam, June 1966.
I used papers from various Imaginisce Collections:
Hello Cupcake, Sole Sister and Christmas Cheer.
I also covered large and small I Top Brads with matching papers as well.
Valor: strength of mind or spirit that enables a
person to encounter danger with firmness.
Valor says it all!
I dressed two chipboard stars in different papers and machine-stitched
around the perimeter. Adding the three strips of red, to me, is symbolic of our
American flag :)
GIVE-A-WAY
I have a little giveaway of my own! One skein of my handmade
crepe paper fringe from my Etsy shop, Dot & Whimsy
The winner can choose from any of the colors available.
**JUST LEAVE A COMMENT**
One winner will be chosen from those who comment :)
**Time now to head-over to Rhonda Van Ginkel's Blog**
Thanks so much for hopping along with us today...enjoy!
