A Hoot of an Adventure!

Happy June, y'all!
With Summer and camping weather around the corner,
I couldn't wait to break out the new
"Adventure Collection" by Authentique Paper
and make something to hang in our camper!

I had this adorable owl cutting file on hand from Miss Kate Cuttables and I knew that I
wanted to use it in some form or fashion. I cut him from some Core'dinations cardstock
and a polka dot paper (Seasons: Autumn Collection).

The cutting file also comes with a tree branch, which I cut from the woodgrain paper.
The leaves were cut from two colors of green found in the Adventure 6X6 Paper Pad
I also die-cut a couple of oval shapes from two of the paper pad papers and then
added one of the sentiments with foam.

I cut the base of the hanger using a scrolled album die by Top Dog Dies
I added some machine and hand-stitching to give a more homespun feel. Two holes
were punched at the top and some faux burlap ribbon by May Arts was tied for the hanger.
