Sunday Pulled Pork

Hey, y'all!
Nothing crafty to share today, but I do have
intentions of sharing some of my favorite recipes
from time-to-time...and today is the day!

SUNDAY PULLED PORK
I know, I know...I'm not necessarily a 'fan' of seeing a pile 'ole pile of meat on a tray
either but this is seriously some GOOOOD stuff.
I can't take credit for how yummy it is, in fact, I'm not sure where
the recipe originated but that won't stop me from sharing :)

INGREDIENTS
--3 to 4 pound pork loin
(mine was about 4.5 lbs and it worked just fine)
--Real Mayonnaise
--Cavendar's Greek Seasoning
--Cracked Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Wash pork loin and place in large metal baking or roasting pan.
Spoon about 1.5 to 2 cups of mayonnaise onto the top; spread evenly
over the entire top of the loin.
Sprinkle with Greek Seasoning and cracked black pepper.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place into preheated 500 degree oven.

Here is a link for the Greek Seasoning --link--

Bake for ONE HOUR and then turn the oven OFF.
Continue to bake for THREE HOURS.
If you have a bunch of folks running around, sniffing, and wondering
what's in the oven, place a big honkin' note that says
**DO NOT OPEN OR ELSE**

Place the loin onto a cutting board or large platter.
You may wish to mix in a bit of the juice from the pan.
Using two forks, shred the pork into small pieces.
Serve on rolls and top with BBQ sauce and coleslaw!
It is absolutely so delish and tender!
ENJOY
  1. Yum! My husband will love this! Pulled Pork is his all time favorite and I've never been brave enough to make it. :)
