I'll be working on St. Patrick's Day and since we wear ceil blue scrubs, I thought I'd better make a little bit of green to pin on my jacket.  So!  I brought out my awesome I-Top Tool and XL Badge buttons by Imaginisce and went to work.  First, I topped my badge with a bright green striped fabric.  Next, I took the green cupcake Irish Sweets Stickerz and applied it to a white cardstock, then trimmed out.  I attached it to the front of the badge with foam dots (I used a dot of Fabri-Tac to adhere the foam to the fabric).  A little green bling and baker's twine finished off my sweet St Patty's badge!

No pinchin' in my future!

You can also use paper with the I Top Tool and accessories...just apply your Stickerz motif and punch out.

Easy, fun and even the kiddies can join in on the creativity :)

I'm Guest Designing over at the Kraft Outlet 

during the month of March!  

My projects will appear as the Thursday Trigger to the

challenges that are posted each Monday.

For the first card, I used the Kraft Outlet's 

Brown Kraft Notecard, Tiny Wooden Clothespins, Yellow Library Card and Precut Chipboard. 

 I incorporated an oval scallop punch to create the shapes of the banner, as well as a scalloped border punch and butterfly punch. The precut chipboard looks beautiful embossed with swiss dots! Ink around the edges of patterned papers and machine stitch together if desired.  Apply scallop banner to top of card with foam dots.  Add a small pearl accent to the center of each butterfly and glue to center of banner.  String a small bit of baker's twine across the top of banner and tie into a bow at each end.  Clip on tiny wooden clothespins to each end.  Stamp sentiment at the lower bottom right.  Before assembling the card,  corner round the bottom portion of the patterned papers.  Finally, glue onto the brown kraft notecard.

Next, I made a sweet Easter embellishment...

perfect for adding to a gift bag, scrapbook page, card or use as a place setting marker.

For this project, I used the Kraft Outlet's Brown Kraft Tag,  Small Glassine Bag, Precut Chipboard, Blue Baker's Twine and Tiny Wooden Clothespin.  For the shapes, she incorporated a 1" and 1.5" circle punch; and heart punch to create the bunny.  For the ears, she cut the heart in half.  Folding a small piece of patterned paper in half, I hand-cut a couple of shabby hearts.  To create an easy pennant banner look, use a star punch to create the fish tail appearance! I also used the same embossed swiss dot precut chipboard (from above) as the background for the bunny; wrap baker's twine around chipboard a couple of times and tie into a bow; machine stitch to patterned paper. Glue to front of glassine bag. A small white pom pom was glued in place to create the bunny's cotton tail.  Rhinestone accents were used for the eyes and nose; a bit of blush was applied for the cheeks.  I simply tied on a piece of ribbon through the kraft tag and then clipped on the hand-cut hearts with a tiny wooden clothespin.

 Now, don't these projects make you ready for Spring?  As you can tell...I am!

 It's just been released today, so inquire about it if you don't see it listed in the stamp shop.

 

For my card I decided to do something a little different, although you really can't tell too much just from the photo.  I dusted off the 'ole coloring pencils, gave them a sharpen and went to work!

You know me, I cut out the image, flecked it with a bit of brown spritz and popped it onto the card with foam dots.  I wanted the baker's twine 'bow' to resemble the actual bow...for this, I stitched back and up (twice) the length of the bow runner and then tied into generous loops at the top.  A small dab of Zig glue holds down the ends of the baker's twine nicely.  Finish it off with a few colorful buttons and you. are. done.

We're expecting up to 8 inches of rain over the next few days...much needed, but like everything else:  just wished it wouldn't all come at one time.  God has to be asking Himself "are these people EVER happy?"

I'll be honest and say that I haven't worked with Core'dinations Cardstocks before this.  The weight and texture alone is reason enough to give it a try...couple that with the beautiful things that you can do with Core and you'll be hooked!  I didn't stray too much into the diversity of the product, so check out what the rest of the Imaginisce Design Team came up with!

 For my first project, I created this Spring wall hanging...cute, eh?

For the base I used a Core'dinations cardstock and lightly sanded around the edges.

I then added accents from the Imaginisce Hippity Hop Collection, as well as fabric covered I Top brads...have you I Topped yet?  If you haven't, then you should put it into your papercrafting bucket list!

 Okay, my middle son loathes this layout...just loathes it.  It was taken last year and yes he has grown several inches and lost several pounds 

Now, back to business...

I used Core'dinations for the base page, then took the beautiful green Core and trimmed them into trees.  I embossed them and lightly sanded the little dots.  I love the whimsy that it adds to the layout :)  I used a white cardstock with a yellow core and cut them into clouds and then sanded.

The cute patterned papers are from the Imaginisce Happy Camper Collection.

As a long-time fan of Beckys, I was thrilled to be the first to scrap this Double 8.5x11 sketch:

I used the happy BIRTHDAY BASH papers and Sticker Stackers by Imaginisce (love this!)

For the sweet banner, I simply cut the wording from one of the papers (which also has the look of a banner, so it's easy to follow).  The balloons were also hand-cut from one of the papers :)

It's all ready Thursday, so that means it's Totally Terrific Thursday at I Heart Ippity.

I've been having the best time with the latest Ippity Stamps...I may have mentioned that before, but it's worth repeating again :)

For this week's project, I selected the

My newest project for Little Yellow Bicycle.

Using their beautiful denim and wild-life inspired Saturday's Collection, I again created a mini album...go with what you know, right? :)

When I got my package and started sorting through the goodies, I knew immediately that I would turn this set of 6x6 textured Decorative Cardstock

into the base pages for the album!

When you have beautiful embellishments to go along with the patterned papers, it makes putting an album together so quick and easy.  I have detailed instructions up at the LYB Blog.

If you love burlap, twine, felt, wood and denim, then you will be over-the-moon-crazy for this collection!

I finally got to break out my February 

My Scrapbook Nook kit!

This kit was filled with the cute and rugged Sasparilla patterned papers and embellishments from October Afternoon...I almost didn't want to cut into it...you know how it is!

I made this adorable mini album

I actually am trying out Ebay again...Etsy sales are a little slow, so I thought I'd see if I could ramp up some biz auction style :)  Don't you just love it?!?
