Pocket Organizer

This is one of those ideas that I piddled around with, without a clue
of how it would turn out in the end...that's what I love about crafting!
These cute new Treat Bags by
DOODLEBUG DESIGN
along with their new Kraft in Color Collection, were the focus of this handy
Pocket Organizer;  it can hold your monthly memories, milestones, birthdays, etc.
All you will need is a variety of the new Treat Bags, a couple of sheets of your favorite
12X12 papers, fun embellishments and a good quality high tack adhesive.

To begin, cut a strip of 12X12 paper to 3.25"W X 12".  Score the strip in
1/2" increments and then fold accordion style.

Select 12 Treat Bags and apply a high-tack adhesive to both sides of the accordion folds.
Next, attach the pockets to the folds and press the adhesive in place to secure.

Embellish the front pocket as desired.

For the tags, you will need two sheets of 12X12 paper;
I've used the Kraft in Color "Cupcake Flower/Ledger" paper and cut into strips
to measure 2.75"W X 5"H.  Corner round the edges of the tags if you'd like.

I've used a punch to create the tabs, along with Teensy Type Cardstock Stickers to mark
each one with a designated month.

I love that the organizer is sturdy enough to stand up easily.
These go together so quickly and would make a sweet little gift for your friends!
