I started my card off with a hand-drawn ribbon awareness shape traced
onto a piece of stiff felt and then trimmed out:
Next, I took small snippets of ribbon in shades of red, yellow, green and blue and
adhered them to the felt with fabric glue. Afterwards, I trimmed all of the ribbons
down so that they matched up with the edge of the felt.
To keep the cut edges from fraying, I dabbed on a fray-check solution.
Finally, I searched the internet for an inspirational sentiment regarding Autism.
I printed out the sentiment and made sure that the typography didn't extend
past the window opening of the ribbon.

I just love everything about your card but most of all that it is recognizing autism awareness. I so wish that we could educate more people on autism. Being a parent of a child with autism, I find I constantly have to fight for my sons right just to be a child and be treated fairly. So many people, even teachers, don't understand how autism affects children differently.
