If you're any kind of a pack rat like me, then you
quite possibly could have one or two of those cute little
wooden boxes that paper flowers or embellishments come in...
or a cigar or paper mache box would also work.
I've used mine to create an Elegant embellished box befitting any princess!
The new Classique: Elegant Collection by Authentique Paper

I painted the base of the box with a black acrylic paint to begin. If you don't want to fuss
with cutting the paper around the clasp, then leaving that area painted is a good way to go :)

I took a Maya Road chipboard 'girl' and covered her with one of the 6X6 papers.
Across her front, I attached a sash of blue vintagey trim that I further embellished with some
pearl/rhinestone picks that I found in the bridal section of Hobby Lobby.
Next, I painted a chipboard crown from Leaky Shed Studio and glued to the top of the girl.
I bent the legs of the chipboard girl, applied high tack glue to the bottom and then

I bent the legs of the chipboard girl, applied high tack glue to the bottom and then
was able to attach the girl to the glass inset of the lid.
I edged around the glass opening with some braided upholstery trim. For the flowers,
I used a die by My Favorite Things and two patterns from the 6X6 Elegant Paper.
Lastly, I added a border of black/white dot ribbon to the bottom of the box and used the
same ribbon as an accent bow for the front. This would also make a cute table
decoration for a bridal shower orother fun girlie event!
What girl wouldn't love a 'Tiffany' themed party!
