Xryon + Teresa Collins

Welcome to Day #1 of the
The line-up for today begins with the Xryon Blog, followed by
and me!  Shellye McDaniel

Today I'm using the "You Are My Happy" Collection and the Basically Essential
Flip Book by Teresa Collins and the Xyron 9" Creative Station,
High Tack Adhesive Dots, 1/4" Adhesive Tape and 1.5" Sticker Maker
to create this beautiful, yet simple, photo album.
From the Memo Circles paper, I cut out the three circles and used them as
the focal point of the cover.

I love the look of hand-tied or stitched buttons, but I didn't want to actually
stitch them to the paper.  After adding the stitching, I attached them to the cover with a
High Tack Adhesive Dot.

All of the base papers were ran through the Xyron 9" Creative Station and a backing
of permanent adhesive was applied.  I like that it covers the entire piece of paper and goes
onto the chipboard smoothly.

For the photo mats, I used strips of the 1/4" High Tack Adhesive Tape.

The first page of the album is the largest, so here I used one of the journal
cards found on the 12X12 Noted Tags paper.

When adding ribbons I reach for the 1.5" Sticker Maker!
Just press the ribbon really good into the adhesive and then peel away :)

I am a layer-er! I topped the circle cut-out with a piece of flair from my stash.
The size of the Alpha Stickers by Teresa Collins are great for arching around a circle...just
follow the contour of the shape and you'll have it done quickly.

I used a 1.5" round punch to cut out the circles easily from the sheet.

This completes my version of the Flip Book...I love the end result!
By using the premade flip book and Xyron tools, I was able to complete this album
in less than 3 hours...most of my time is spent on page planning and not the
actual construction LOL!

Thanks so much for being a part of our Xyron & Teresa Collins' Blog Hop!
Hope you enjoy and are inspired :)
