I Love Shipping Tags...
...and it's pretty obvious with these two projects that I recently created.
First, let me mention the February Color Challenge at EAD Designs Blog!

Classic Black and White
The Vintage Treasures Stickerz Set compliment this Color Challenge
perfectly and is what I used on my card
Have you tried EAD Stickerz...they are unlike any other sticker that you've used before. I liken them to the consistency of a clear contact paper, but unlike contact paper these are easy to reposition and there are no annoying bubbles! Truly a fun product to use.
Come on over and link up your project...everyone who plays along is a winner!
One person will be chosen to be the next EAD Guest Designer in March
Next is a project that I whipped up for an upcoming show-n-tell at Imaginisce...but, I goofed and used the wrong product...oops! I figured that I would show it here though as it's too fun not to share
For this gifting tag, I used the Imagnisce Hybrid Petal Roller and paper Bitty Blossoms. Before layering the paper flowers, I rolled the petals making sure that I increased the amount of rolling as I neared the center of the flower...you can see the results easily in the photo. I then spritzed the blooms. For the petals, I punched a heart shape from patterned paper, cut in half and rolled one of the edges under for dimension! The stamped sentiment was cut from a Snag 'Ems stamp; the houndstooth frame is from the Sole Sisters collection.
As you can see, I'm putting my shipping tags to use this month :) I love distressing the edges with ink and finding fun ways to dress 'em up!
I'll be back a little later with my Ippity project for this week.
Off to mop...somebody has to do it and it always ends up being me :/

Imaginisce and 3L Scrapbook Adhesives
Yay!
Today is my day to be featured at the
Imaginisce & 3L Scrapbook Adhesives Blog Hop
If you've followed me for long then you probably know that I L-O-V-E pop dots, foam dots and dimension. I honestly don't think that there has been a project that I've created that doesn't have a foam dot on it somewhere. So, when I heard that Imaginisce was hooking up with Scrapbook Adhesives for a Blog Hop, I was pretty excited. Thin foam, thick foam, black foam, white foam...you name it, we got it!
In my course I was thinking that these were just your average 'pop dots'...they are so NOT your average pop dots. If you love foam dots as I do, then I implore you to give Scrapbook Adhesives a try! They are worth every single penny. Before, I would dab a little glue onto a foam dot to make sure that what I popped up stayed secure....with 3L, I do not have to worry about something giving way...these babies STICK!
Here is a cute little treat box that I made up
I used a combination (I almost typed a foambination hehe) of thin and thick foam squares. The box is a premade by Martha Stewart. I cut strips of papers from the Sole Sisters collection and attached the top strip to the bottom using thin foam. After wrapping that around the box and securing, I attached the cute Sole Sister's chipboard purse with thick foam sqaures and embellished as shown. I used thin foam squares to secure the pearls and one of the hand-cut flowers. For the other flower, I used a thick foam sqaure. Finally, I added a bit of baker's twine and sticker sentiment!
I invite you to come by the Imaginisce and Scrapbook Adhesives Blog...be sure to leave a comment for each day this week...prizes are involved :)
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day! I cooked up a 'brown sugar' dinner...not intentional, but everything we had had brown sugar in it or on it...Honey BBQ crock pot pork loin (we made pulled pork), baked sweet potatoes (and the kids put marshmallows, brown sugar and cinnamon on top!), baked beans (with brown sugar of course) and Sister Schubert rolls! It was delish! I shredded the remaining pork and the kids took pulled pork sandwiches to school...ahhh, I love it when left-overs get eaten :) Makes momma happy!
Be back tomorrow with my Totally Terrific Thursday project with I Heart Ippity

Monday Give-A-Way & Blog Hop
It's time for the Monday Giveaway and Blog Hop
with EAD Designs!
with EAD Designs!
You should be here from the EAD Blog...if not, be sure to check in there
and take a gander at this week's giveaway :)
When I spotted this BBQ Block Art
I knew that I needed it and exactly what I would do with it once I got it. We have a comfy backyard patio where we do a lot of grillin' and sittin' during the nice weather. I have red, blue and clear decorative lights strung up across the covered portion of the patio, so I chose the colors of red and blue for my Block Art!
And here
is
what
I
did
I removed a cover from a 3-ring binder (this was not your average cardboard covered in plastic binder, but a white acrylic type binder). I trimmed it down to size, applied the Block Art and then punched holes in all four corners. Threading a small gauge wire through each hole, I then attached it to the back side of a grapevine wreath. Deciding that this would be the most perfect Memorial Weekend, Fourth of July and Labor Day decoration, I dressed up a chipboard star with red, white and blue ribbons, a huge gingham bow and button. I then twisted a few colored pipe cleaners around a pencil and then glued them into the wreath.
Now, how fun is that?!? I couldn't wait to share it with ya'll :)
Thanks for visiting, now it's time to hop on over to Lauren's blog:

MY SCRAPBOOK NOOK
Have you seen the February Nook kit?
It is a-dor-able!
This isn't my design month with The Nook, so my plans are to create a mini album with some of the sweet papers and embellishments from October Afternoon's Sasparilla. I have quite a few photos of my daughter riding her horse, so I'll scrapbook at least one or two pages with it as well.
It's so cute, I almost hate to cut into it, know-what-I-mean?
Also, at last check, there is a fabulous grab bag that will be sent with first time subscribers!

That's about all for today...thanks for stopping by!

Look Ma! I Got An Award!
My sweet friend and fellow Nook DT member, Lilith, gave me an award today...A Liebster Award!
The idea of the Liebster award is to bring attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers.
One of the conditions in accepting the award is to pass it along to five more blogs (or 6 if you can't narrow it down). So here are some of my favorite blogs that I would love to share some love with -
If you have a moment please go visit them and then come back and leave a comment here and I will enter you for a giveaway...a HUGE ribbon pack giveaway!
For those interested, the Rules are:
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your five picks for the award and let them know.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogshare-other bloggers.
5. Finally and the best rule of all..........have fun and spread the love!
I am awarding these five fabulous blogs with a Liebster Award
Next on the agenda...
Join us next week as we're excited to be teaming up with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L all week long. Our Design Teams have been working hard creating wonderful projects and we can't wait to share them with you. So please stop by our blog next week for inspiration and giveaways!

Love is in the Air
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it seems that LOVE projects are popping up all over the blogosphere and www in general...I *heart* this time of the year. So many nostalgic memories like making mailboxes from shoeboxes, cutting hearts from construction paper and finding just the 'right' valentine card for that 'special' boy in your class...you surely didn't want to give one that was too suggestive to the boy that you didn't like...oh the stress of it all hehe!
I have a couple of new projects to share with you this Thursday, so let's get goin'
TOTALLY TERRIFIC THURSDAY
is my day over at the I Heart {Ippity} Blog
IPPITY-IB-005 WISE GUY
I stamped the image twice onto two different patterned papers (I used Suzy Ultman's Lion Sleeps by K&CO.) and then carefully cut out the wings and eyes, attaching them to the body with foam dots.
The cute crepe paper trim is from my Etsy shop...I added the stamped title to the top portion and then topped with buttons and twine. I wanted to dress up the eyes and give some texture, so I glued on two small black poms :) Many different avenues with this sweet stamp set! And my guy loves pink, so I thought it would make a cute Valentine card.
Lots and lots of new releases out this month! Be sure to visit Heather and she can set you up with Ippity Stamps.
IMAGINISCE
LOVE WEEK
It's LOVE WEEK over at Imaginisce's Blog!
Cards, layouts, mini albums, altered projects...it's all been covered this week.
I was asked to create a mini album (I think everyone knows how much I LOVE makin' 'em)
so I started with my Cricut and the sweet papers and embellishments from the brand new
SOLE SISTERS Collection
And a little peek at the inside pages...total of 6 for adding photos to.
Imaginisce is giving away lots of goodies this week...just go to their blog and leave your comments on the LOVE WEEK posts and you'll be in the drawing for some cool new tools :)
Busy week at Etsy! So off I go to finish up on some orders before it's time for work.
See you all soon!

Here's a quick and easy card that I put together using the sweetest
Feathered Friends Stickerz
I trimmed the party hat from the sticker before adhering to cardstock. I then trimmed the hat and popped it up with a foam dot and embellished with a small pom pom. These patterned papers from Kaiser Craft matched perfectly...uncanny how the colors are spot on!
Okay, I'm the caboose this week, so no one to 'hop' to after visiting here :)
Hope you all enjoy the Blog Hop and GOOD LUCK on the prizzzze!

The Red Robin
Kits!
I had a couple hours of free time before going out to eat with my family last night...I didn't want to delve into a large project, so I thought it would be an opportune time to gather up a few kits. I actually love doing this!
My inspiration came from the sweet kit that I compiled for my blog give-a-way.
Here are just a few that I've listed at The Red Robin
And there are lots more where this came from :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
No projects this week for I Heart Ippity or My Scrapbook Nook! But I will be back to share my "Love Week" mini album for Imaginisce. Design Team projects will begin in February for Vintage Street Market and EAD Designs...wait until you see the coolest wreath that I made with EAD art!
See you soon

K and Company
I Like to Brag...
...oh, not really...I am actually the most non-braggart type that I know. When people find out something about me, they always ask, "why didn't I know that about you?!?!" Because...I do not like to talk about myself...there. I don't like anyone looking at me either. Yes, I have phobias LOL
But, man, do I like to digress!
As the title of this entry implies...it's about liking to brag...as grandmothers do.
So, here is a cute 'lil tag brag album that I whipped together today
I fell in L-O-V-E with the cute motifs by K&Co and I just had to have it!
I picked up the chipboard tag album at my LSS this week...I think it's my favorite material to create albums with. This gem will be going up in my Etsy shop sometime this evenin'
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Congratulations again to Jessica...my Valentine Give-A-Way Winner!
I may get crafty tomorrow...I'm sort of in limbo on what projects I need to start for next month. Lots of goodies just sitting here staring at me, but I hate to delve in only to find out that I was supposed to save X for Y, kwim?
And can you believe this: my oldest is at BASEBALL practice @@ Goodness, it's getting to be that time of the year all ready. Soon prom and then graduation quickly follows...I don't think I'm ready for this...WAHHHHHHH
*sniff*
See ya'll in a day or two

Give-A-Way
I Heart Ippity
valentine
Hello!
Well, I forced myself into going to 'town' today. You know the trip. Sam's Club, Wal Mart, local scrapbook store, Wally's party store, gas-up...oh yes...I got some new tires today too! Ah, there's just something about the way a car drives with brand-spanking-new tread. I pulled up at the school to get the kids and just knew everyone was staring at their beauty...well maybe not, but I surely do feel that they've brought sexy back to my SUV :)
Today was the last of the (almost) 48 hours of rain, drizzle, mist and downpours. Thank goodness! I have pictures that I need to take tomorrow. I'm thinking that I need to spruce up The Red Robin over at Etsy...it is lacking in new things and I have so much to share...so I'll try to get some of that done tomorrow as well.
Okay, onto my latest project for
I HEART {IPPITY}
A really quick notecard using the HELLO stamp from the
HOW YOU DOIN' IPK-143
The notecard is actually from a set that I purchased from Wal-Mart...all ready scalloped with a colored border. I simply stitched on a swatch of patterned paper and embellished...literally minutes. I think that handmade gifts make the best gifts. Why not take a few assorted notecards, add some stamping, a few embellies and then tie them up in a satin ribbon for gift giving!
